12,5%

A Cabernet Franc DOC Friuli Grave from the Solo Roberto collection, prized for its freshness, fruitiness and elegance.

Cabernet Franc DOC Friuli Grave

It is the most widespreat wine in the world, found the highest expression in Friuli with the Solo Roberto Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a sample of elegance and complexity.

Region

Solo Roberto Friuli Grave DOC wines are an expression of the Grave territory, in Pordenone province. The soil is of alluvial origin, predominantly stony or gravelly. "Grave" are rounded pebbles formed by the millenary erosive action of water of the Meduna, Cellina and Tagliamento rivers; in their flow towards the sea, they have deposited along the plains, the calcareous-dolomite material torn from the mountains.

Variety: 100% Cabernet Franc | Style: Still Wine

Alcohol Graduation: 12,5% | Serving Temperature: Between 16 and 18°C

Tasting Notes

Compact ruby red with violet reflections. The aroma is elegant with pleasant notes of red fruits that intertwine well with the characteristic herbaceous hints. It closes with light spicy entities which are more evident in important years. Intense on the palate, with a well-balanced tannin and a perfect correspondence between the taste and the aromas. Excellent persistence.

Food Pairing

Ideal with red meat, game and hard cheeses. Must try with grilled meat.

Technical Information
