One of the protagonists of Italian oenology, a timeless classic. Together with the Brunello, it is considered the best Italian wine. The very particular pedoclimatic conditions of the Langhe give rise to this unique wine.
Region
Selected hillside vineyard in "La Morra" municipality, belonging to the Langhe unique terroir in the Piedmont region. 290-370 mt. above sea level. The soil is calcarous with whitish marl and bluish tufa.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red color with garnet reflections. Ethereal and intense scent with hints of wilted rose and violets with final notes of ripe fruit and spices. The taste is refined, dry, elegant, velvety with a good structure and soft pleasant tannins.
Food Pairing
Ideal with meat dishes, game and seasoned cheeses. Perfect also as meditation wine.
Technical Information
The vinification and maceration is in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. Wine undergoes a traditional aging process in large oak barrels for at least 2 years and part in 225 lt. casks of French oaks. Followed by ageing in bottle.
